A complete list of grant recipients and project descriptions is available HERE.

“Dane County’s vibrant arts community is one of the things that makes our county such a special place to live, work, and raise a family,” said Dane County Executive Melissa Agard. “From local performances and exhibitions to programs that celebrate our history and culture, the arts bring people together and strengthen our communities. I’m proud that Dane County continues to support the artists and organizations whose creativity enriches the lives of our residents.”

Dane Arts grants are supported through a public-private partnership that combines county funding with generous private donations from Diane Ballweg and the Endres Manufacturing Company Foundation.

Between Cycle 1 and Cycle 2, Dane Arts will award more than $211,000 in public-private funding to nonprofit organizations, schools, individuals, and municipalities in 2026. These grants support arts, cultural, and local history projects, along with other community arts programming offered throughout Dane County.

The next deadline to apply for Dane Arts project grants is February 1, 2027, at 4 p.m.
