Relocation of Register of Deeds Department, Planning and Development Department to City County Building

During the summer of 2014 two offices were temporarily moved to a new location while the first floor of the City County Building was remodeled. We are pleased to announce that the remodel has been completed and both the Register of Deeds Department and the Planning and Development Department will moving back into the City County Building in November.

The Register of Deeds Department along with the Planning and Development Department will be moving back from the third floor of the Meriter Clinic building located at 345 West Washington Avenue in Madison WI to the City County Building six blocks away at 210 Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.. A map showing both the temporary location and the City County Building is shown below.

 

Both offices will be moving back to the 1st floor of the City County Building on Monday, November 17th, opening for business at noon on Tuesday November 18th. To facilitate this move, both offices will be closed at noon on Friday November 14th and all day Monday, November 17th.
