(Madison, WI) – Beginning Tuesday, November 1, 2016, residents and visitors can make their 2017 reservations for campsites and shelters in Dane County Parks at www.reservedane.com. With the online reservation system, patrons can browse county park facilities to determine which campsite or shelter best meets their needs. Patrons can reserve a campsite or shelter online using a major credit or debit card and receive an email confirmation.  Reservations must be made at least five days before the campsite is needed and require a minimum of a 2 night stay.

“Whether you are planning a weekend getaway at one of Dane County’s beautiful campgrounds, a family reunion in one of our shelters, or another special event, reserving your site early will ensure that your favorite facility or campsite is waiting when you arrive,” said Parks Director Darren Marsh.

For those looking for an indoor facility, Dane County offers the Lussier Family Heritage Center. Located at scenic Lake Farm County Park in Madison, this facility offers patrons beautiful views and many amenities.  Learn more at www.countyofdane.com/lwrd/parks/heritage.
