Highest Year in History for Passenger Traffic
Madison, WI – The Dane County Regional Airport (DCRA) marked its best year in history with passenger traffic up 3.0 percent compared to 2016. The airport served 1,907,499 passengers in 2017 – the highest count in the history of the airport.
“Our Dane County Regional Airport continues to be a high-quality, convenient experience in the county and throughout our region,” said Dane County Executive Joe Parisi. “This record breaking number proves that more people are choosing to travel with us. That means great things for our airport, its guests, and our local economy.”
DCRA is experiencing tremendous growth, with the addition of non-stop flights to Las Vegas in 2017, and the upcoming non-stop flights to Philadelphia and San Francisco.
“Madison customers can enjoy upgraded service to fifteen major airline hubs,” said Bradley Livingston, AAE, Airport Director. “Flights to these key hubs mean convenient one-stop service to worldwide destinations for south central Wisconsin.”
