Daily Non-stop Service Will Begin June 7, 2018
Madison, WI – The Bay Area will soon be a flight away for business and leisure travelers throughout Dane County thanks to United Airlines’ launch of daily non-stop, year-round service to San Francisco on June 7th, 2018.
“Thank you to United Airlines for their continued support of the Dane County region,” said Dane County Executive Joe Parisi. “Not only will this flight serve tourists headed to California, but it will also provide a vital connection between high-tech Silicon Valley and south-central Wisconsin’s growing tech industry.”
Flights will depart MSN daily at 3:11 p.m. on a Embraer E-175 aircraft featuring three-class service, AC power ports, larger over-head bins that can accommodate full sized carry-ons, and Wi-Fi. Tickets will be available for sale beginning, Saturday, January 6th, 2018.
“United Airlines is pleased to offer our Madison-area customers the first daily service from Madison to the West Coast,” said Jake Cefolia, United’s vice president of Sales. “Our new flight to our San Francisco hub will provide customers more opportunities to connect to multiple destinations throughout the western United States.”
Arriving in San Francisco, travelers will have access to connect to 25 US destinations and more than 5 international destinations each day.
“After many years of consultation with United our persistence and patience is rewarded with non-stop service to a major United hub at the world class destination of San Francisco,” said Airport Director Bradley Livingston, AAE. “This is a very significant development for the State of Wisconsin because Dane County Regional Airport will now have direct access to venture capital and tech business and talent in the Bay area.”
The Dane County Regional Airport provides seamless, low-stress, and affordable options for both leisure and business travelers with more than 95 daily arrivals and departures. Nonstop service to 15 cities provides access to nearly every worldwide destination.
