Daily Nonstop Service Begins March 31, 2019
Madison, WI – Southern California and International and domestic points beyond will soon be a flight away for business and leisure travelers throughout Dane County thanks to United Airlines’ launch of daily non-stop, year-round service to Los Angeles, California on March 31, 2019
“Thank you to United Airlines for their continued support of the Dane County region,” said Dane County Executive Joe Parisi. “Not only will this flight serve tourists headed to California, but it will also provide a vital gateway to the West for south-central Wisconsin.”
Flights will depart MSN daily at 3:33 p.m. on a Embraer E-175 aircraft featuring three-class service, AC power ports, larger over-head bins that can accommodate full sized carry-ons, and Wi-Fi. Tickets are on sale now.
“United is thrilled to offer this direct flight from Los Angeles to the innovation hub of Madison,” said Janet Lamkin, United’s California President. “This new flight gives Madison residents dozens of new flight options to Asia and throughout California, and brings more business and leisure travelers to Wisconsin.”
Arriving in Los Angeles, travelers will have access to numerous world-wide destinations each day.
“This is a significant development for Dane County and south central Wisconsin,” said Airport Interim Director Kim Jones. “The Los Angeles airport will provide significant opportunities for travelers to connect to hundreds of west coast and international destinations.”
